We are nearly there! Today is the last day of school for the Class of 2020, and the rest of us are a mere week from the finish line. Although summer travels and vacations may look a bit different this year, I hope that each of you will be able to find ways to orchestrate some genuine leisure, rest, and recreation for your families. I think we have probably all been under more strain than we realize.
Two communications went out yesterday, and I want to assure you that they were intended to alleviate, not add to, that strain. One was a survey through which we are asking you to share your experience of remote learning this past quarter. The other (linked here) was an outline of the state and trajectory of our preparations to return to campus in August. Apart from any information these communications conveyed, I hope their cumulative effect was to reassure you that during this unsettled time we are taking the safety and education of your children as seriously as you are.
Stay steady, Crusaders. Our Lady of the Atonement--pray for us!
Your servant,
Matthew David Watson Head of School The Atonement Academy
