I hope you will enjoy this issue of the Crusader Times. Of special note--this is our Third Quarter Awards Edition. Congratulations to all award winners.
I can imagine that for many of you students, the work you put in to win those awards must seem like a distant memory now. So much has changed. Seeing your name in the newsletter might feel like a message from another era.
But I would encourage you to let that message remind you that effort and steadfastness in the present will always bear fruit, even if you have to wait for it. We reap what we sow. I have no doubt that in this season of quarantine and shelter-in-place and dire headlines--especially in this season--faithfulness to your calling as a student and perseverance in seeking the Lord will forge the sort of proven character that will last you a lifetime. Then, when the next crisis comes along, as it inevitably will, people will be looking to you to lead them.
