I hope you were able to make the most of our unexpected winter weather closure yesterday. The Watsons took a long neighborhood walk and then warmed up at a nearby coffee shop. I am thankful for that time together and the conversations it made space for. Remember, students also have Monday, January 24th off. Teachers and staff will be here on campus enjoying a mid-year intellectual retreat led by Dr. Roland Millare of the St. John Paul II Foundation. The day’s topic is “The Benedictine Approach to Culture and Education.” Please pray for a fruitful time for our faculty.
Please also pray for our brave students attending today’s chilly March for Life in Washington, D.C. And let us continue to pray for one another. Our Lady of The Atonement—Pray For Us! Your servant, Matthew David Watson Head of School Parent ’23, ’26, ’29, ’30, ’32, ’37
