Dear Academy Family, Among the faculty, we always make it a point to observe “Thankful Thursday.” The start of the school year has certainly given us many things to be thankful for. Here are three that come readily to mind. In the newness and tumult of the first days, we have been blessed to see older brothers and sisters walking PreK or Kindergarten siblings, sometimes a little tearful, to their new classrooms. What a beautiful testimony to the love you model in your homes. We have also been encouraged to see parents in pews at the 9 a.m. school Mass, and not just in the narthex as was the case last year. While our carline situation the past few days has been a bit awkward, we have appreciated how everyone has come together to make it happen smoothly. I am, however, happy (and thankful) to report that starting tomorrow morning, we plan to be back to normal carline operations. Let us continue to pray for one another. Our Lady of The Atonement—Pray For Us! Your servant, Matthew David Watson Head of School
